The Auction House differs slightly from the trading post. You do not have to auction Azwarg RP related items in the Auction House, but all users should follow these general guidelines.
1) Auctioneers should include the following:
- What you are auctioning
- The starting bid
- The minimum increment. For example, if your minimum increment is 10 Tellite, users must offer AT LEAST 10 more than the previous bid.
- A maximum increment, if you desire. For example, a maximum increment of 50 would mean that users cannot raise the previous bid by 55 Tellite.
- An automatic buy price if you so desire. The user who declares an automatic buy first will get the item.
- An ending time and date. Be as specific about the time as possible! Minutes are usually specific enough.
2) Winners MUST be able to pay the price they bid. Otherwise, they forfeit the win. You can then proceed to give the item to the next highest bidder or re-auction.
3) If a winner refuses to pay or otherwise lies or cheats, you can contact a staff member who will give the winner a warning and deduct the money from his/her account.
For Special Auctions
Occasionally there may be a special auction hosted by a staff member. These auctions have somewhat stricter regulations, detailed below.
1) You may NOT edit a bid. Edited bids will be voided. You MAY NOT double post and raise your own bid.
2) Any bids placed AT OR AFTER the end time will be voided. For instance, if an auction ends at 10:00 PM, posts made at 10:00 or 10:01 will be null.
3) If you win a special auction, you MAY NOT participate the next special auction. This is to give more people a chance to win!
